At MMG, we’ve developed a structured employee training and classification system designed to identify each team member’s strengths and experience. This allows us to assign roles that align with individual skills, streamline cleaning procedures, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
Employees are evaluated, trained, and classified into three levels. Each team member is also cross-trained to ensure seamless coverage and support, following our contingency plan. Below is a summary of our classification system:
Responsible for maintaining all flooring surfaces:
Sweeping and mopping non-carpeted floors
Vacuuming carpeted areas
Adhering to safety protocols (e.g., proper wet sign placement, correct mopping techniques) to minimize slip hazards
Our top-performing employees specialize in:
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and lounge areas
Executing detailed procedures to ensure hygienic, presentable, and timely results
Meeting both MMG’s standards and our clients’ expectations
Reserved for experienced personnel capable of:
Trash removal
High/low dusting
Glass and window cleaning
Handling physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting 50+ lbs, working on ladders)
Reducing workplace injuries through proper technique and training
Each group is assigned a Team Leader responsible for:
Overseeing team performance
Reporting to the Custodial Supervisor at the end of each shift
Submitting keys and a nightly performance report
